The Palmolive Building

159 E Walton Condos for Sale in Chicago

Originally built in 1929 by Holabird & Root, the Palmolive Building was considered Chicago's most distinctive Art Deco monument. It had changed ownership several times after Colgate-Palmolive's move to New York in 1934 and, for a number of years, was the headquarters for Playboy Enterprises. It was not until 2004, Booth Hansen redesigned the building converting it from an office building to an exclusive residential condominiums building with 100 units ranging from pied-à-terre studios to full floor residences.

159 East Walton is located in the heart of Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood, just off of Michigan Avenue (The Magnificent Mile) and steps from the Hancok, The Drake Hotel, Chicago's Water Tower and Oak street shopping and dining.
